Read, Write & ROAR!

The BC Lions Read, Write & ROAR! Literacy Program is 10 Years old this year and The Pantry Restaurant is proud to be the title sponsor for 2011.
 
Read, Write & ROAR! began in 2002 in partnership with Literacy BC, the Vancouver Public Library, the Vancouver School Board and teachers in participating elementary schools. This program, designed for students in grades one through three, aims to promote the importance of reading and writing. The Pantry Restaurant encourages families to spend quality time together reading and writing.
 
Get started now!  Visit your local Pantry Restaurant or participating elementary school to receive your B.C. Lions Read Write and Roar Tracking Sheet.  Read with your kids and track the # of minutes (hours) they’ve read using our Read Write & Roar tracking sheet.  Bring the completed tracking sheet to any Pantry Restaurant location to receive a FREE Kids Meal.  Just a little reward for your  child’s efforts!
