Read, Write & ROAR!

The BC Lions Read, Write & ROAR! Literacy Program is 10 Years old this year and The Pantry Restaurant is proud to be the title sponsor for 2012/2013.
 
Read, Write & ROAR! began in 2002 in partnership with Literacy BC, the Vancouver Public Library, the Vancouver School Board and teachers in participating elementary schools. This program, designed for students in grades one through three, aims to promote the importance of reading and writing. The Pantry Restaurant encourages families to spend quality time together reading and writing.
 
If your child is a student of a participating elementary school, they will receive a B.C. Lions Read, Write and Roar Journal which includes a tracking sheet. This sheet allows a child to track the number of minutes (hours) they’ve read over a specified period of time. Once their tracking sheet is completed, they will receive a voucher for a FREE Kid's Meal valid at any Pantry Restaurant location. Our reward for your child’s efforts!
